Haircuts and hairstyles are a part of everyones culture. Haircuts and hairstyles can sometimes dictate a persons everyday emotion. This reason alone is why it is a great career path to become a barber or hairstylist. If you enjoy making other people look and feel great, then learning how to cut hair would be a great career decision for you. When i first learned how to cut hair, i was 13 years old. I started cutting my own hair and never stopped. Now i am a licensed professional master barber with over 25 years of experience. Learning how to cut hair as a professional is when i really started to blossom. I started learning how to use certain clippers, shears, trimmers and many other tools that are essential in the clipper cutting process. Since 1997, i have developed into a licensed master barber that has been able to expand my career internationally. By teaching others how to cut hair better, i have also honed my haircutting skills as well. When you teach someone else what to do, your skills also develop as well.
There are many tips and techniques that can be taught when teaching others how to cut hair. There are techniques such as clipper and comb, shears and comb, razor and comb, guards and clippers, clippers only and so much more. Once you have mastered the art of haircutting, you will be able to utilize any technique that you desire. The most popular technique that i have seen is the clipper cut. Basically using the clippers and guards to achieve most of the basic haircuts of today. Some of the basic haircuts of today are bald fade, temp fade, dark ceaser, afro temp, low fade, lite ceaser, mohawks and the high and tight fade. If you can learn how to cut those basic haircuts that i just named, you will be a master in no time.
The haircutting process is not that hard if you have the right individual guiding you through the haircutting process. Just like anything else, there are basics to any process. If you are a beginner, then i suggest that you start with the basics such as a low ceaser. From the low ceaser, i would suggest trying the dark ceaser. Then from the dark ceaser, i would suggest trying the temp fade haircut. From the temp fade, i would suggest trying the bald fade. Once you have attempted those 4 basic haircuts, you will have a pretty good understanding of the basics of haircutting.
