ABOUT ALEX CAMPBELL
Alex quite naturally was groomed for success in the barber/tonsorial business. His mother Victoria Crystal is an Author, Salon Owner and Licensed Master Cosmetologist of over 20 years back in his hometown of DeFuniak Springs, Florida.
Alex has been cutting hair since he was 13 years old. (23 years of total experience) He started cutting hair in his mothers salon, and that is where his love for Barbering started. Alex has always been fascinated with art and detail.
But his love for Barbering didn't superceed his love for sports. Alex went to college in Atlanta, Ga and attended Morris Brown College on a full scholarship in 1991. He had an outstanding career in college and received ALL-AMERICAN honors 3 times as a placekicker and punter in football. He was ranked #1 in the country.
Although Alex had and outstanding career in football, he would still continue to cut hair throughout college and continue to fine tune his skills. In 1996, Alex signed as a Free-Agent with the Philadelphia Eagles under coach Danny Smith and Ray Rhodes. After being released after the 2nd preseason game, Alex returned to Atlanta and took on several different jobs before finally focusing on Barbering full time.
Since the Philadelphia Eagles, Alex has owned 2 Barbershops, built a successful clientele, is currently producing a line of instructional haircutting DVD's, hair care products, clipper and trimmer solutions and is currently a freelance barber and barber consultant.
