Depending on the type of haircut that you are sporting will make a difference in how often should you cut your hair. I have tons of clients who like to get a haircut at least once a week and some even twice a week.
I think it really depends on how serious a person is about their image. For example, a person who is an entertainer and is always in front of the camera will always need a regular hair cut.
You also have people who may not be entertainers but are very serious about their image and for personal reasons, want to keep a very well-groomed appearance.
WAYS TO CUT YOUR HAIR
There are several different ways to cut your hair. Haircuts for some are dictated by the type of career they have. In an old fashioned corporate setting, a man might want to keep a nice clean and conservative haircuts like a temp fade, dark Ceaser, or a bald fade.
Sometimes a haircut can dictate the mood in a conversation. But if a person will at least give you a chance to express your true self, the haircut might not have as much of an impact in the end. These days, people are allowed a little bit more freedom with haircuts.
HOW TO KEEP YOUR HAIR HEALTHY
One of the most definite ways to keep your hair healthy is to keep it clean by shampooing it regularly. A huge question is “how should you wash your hair”? Well, I have to speak on this topic with personal experience.
I feel like it boils down to what you wash your hair with versus how should you wash your hair and how often should you wash your hair? A lot of my Caucasian clients say that they wash their hair every day and a lot of my African American clients say that they wash their hair once a week.
Now why that is, I am not completely clear of yet, but when I wash my hair frequently, the style of my hair starts to look a little rough. So if I am trying to get waves in my hair, I can’t wash my hair more than once a week or I will lose my wave pattern.
But definitely keeping your hair clean will help you keep your hair looking healthy. You may have to try a few different shampoos to see what works for you. Once you find the shampoo product that works for you, STICK TO IT!!
