SHARP LINEUP TIPS
Every Barber loves to give a customer a sharp lineup and every customer loves to get a sharp lineup, unless of course the customer doesn’t want a lineup at all. No matter if you are cutting a Bald fade, Temple fade, Afro Temp, Ceaser Haircut, Blowout, Shadow Fade, Beards or Mustaches, it is important to know how to give a sharp lineup.
So below, I have included a few barber tips on how to achieve a sharp lineup. These barbering tips will also be featured in the Haircut DVD’s as well. Even if you are not a barber and you want to learn how to cut like a barber, these tips will help a lot.
To be able to CUT LIKE A BARBER takes time and practice. Professional barbers cut hair everyday. Because professional barbers cut hair everyday, they will be more efficient in the barbering practices needed to satisfy a paying customer.
So if you are a professional barber or if you aspire to learn to CUT LIKE A BARBER, these barbering tips will help you along the way.
TIP#1 ALWAYS USE A FRESH RAZOR BLADE.
TIP#2 MOISTEN THE SKIN & HAIR LINE WITH WATER OR ALOE VERA GEL OR BOTH. TIP#3 ALWAYS KEEP YOUR TRIMMER BLADES OILED & WIPE OFF EXCESS OIL.
TIP#4 LEARN HOW TO ADJUST YOUR OWN TRIMMERS.
TIP#5 KEEP YOUR BLADES SHARPENED ATLEAST 1 TIME EVERY 3 TO 5 MONTHS.
TIP#6 WHEN YOU GET YOUR BLADES SHARPENED, MAKE SURE THAT THEY ARE GRINDED DOWN TO A FINE THIN TIP ON THE ENDS OF THE BLADES. THIS ENABLES YOU TO HAVE A MORE PRECISE BLADE. THE MORE YOU SHARPEN THEM, THE THINNER THEY WILL GET, AND THE MORE PRECISE THEY WILL BECOME. (UNDERSTAND THAT MOST BLADE SHARPENING COMPANIES WILL NOT OFFER THIS SERVICE AND IF YOU ASK FOR IT, THEY WILL PROBABLY TELL YOU NO)
